Remember the last post about the phantom of the opera? Guess what - i got to watch it again on saturday night. This time with my glasses.
I didnt regret watching it again. The set was absolutely amazing, especially the scene where the phantom brought christie into his lair through a series of stairs and the gondola-ish ride. And the costumes! Masquerade dazzled in its victorian inspired costumes and masks - i spotted two actresses in bejewelled crinolines! The beauty of it all... *sighs* yep i got swept away. The whole musical took on a whole new meaning when viewed through my glasses. Har.
Haha. thanks to don for being such a perfect gentleman - from booking the tickets to leading me to the right bus stop! Lol.
Anyway, i went out earlier with my parents to the national museum for the leslie kee exhibition... and we arrived too late (got greeted with an apologetic smile frm the receptionist). But there were other exibitions going on, so we took a short tour in order to do justice to the three dollars carparking fee. National museum really changed for the better - there's a slight modernised look to it, with plenty of glass ceilings, white walls and red chandeliers *whoa*. I shall go there on labour day again for leslie kee.
