little mermaid.

i had a random disney obsession (fine. it is not random. it was carefully cultivated over the years and i readily admit that i am a hardcore fan of disney. i got the soundtracks to prove.) today and i decide to do a wiki on a few of my favourite shows: beauty and the beast and the little mermaid. Here are some interesting facts:

The Little Mermaid:
- Ariel's only 16. and she got a good looking prince as a husand. Heck. what am i doing with my life?
- Ariel's other sisters are called Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Atina, Adella and Allana. (Remember that song?)

Beauty and the Beast:
- This movie won two Academys... best song and original score. and you thought ariel got a good voice. It was also the only animated film ever nominated for best picture.
- The color blue is also a significant symbol throughout Beauty and the Beast. Belle is the only character in the village who wears blue (and her dress was inspired by dorothy's attire from the Wizard of Oz) . Later on she meets the Beast, who also dresses in blue. The idea is that both characters are social outcasts, so they can relate with one another and see the world in similar views.

COol huh? I so much want to watch disney again~
