retail therapy works. no matter how small the stuff you buy. and best if the money isnt yours. But that is not the point. I got really good friends to accompany me out.
BUT this is important. Thanks to one dear friend for sponsoring my kino spree as a belated present. you are always loved no matter what (even without the spending). friends for almost a decade, you been through my good times and bad. Sorry for being a lousy friend in return, but yea i ll make time for you and pool/bowling/photography yea? (to my defence i have been improving on arranging meetups and i will continue to do so!) And your name is nicely printed across those books you got me (YAY).
Another dear friend went out with me on a saturday shopping spree (it was an excuse to meet up and chat really). I am happy for her, really really happy and i wish her the best. we ate ice cream with biscuit-inspired flavours - pocky and chicken in a biscuit. surprsingly good. and i made my first colourful purchase (apart from socks) in the form of a peach coloured shirt. summer is here and i should dress for the occasion no?
speaking of socks, i bought ankle socks in bright blue, coral and maroon. I have yet to rock out the coral pair - nice to see hard to match BUT i will find a way.
Come to think about it. I am one month into internship and i am treasuring my weekends alot more now, in addition to sleep.
