not really anticipating the jab i ll be getting later. needles never go well with me (that explains why i only got one piercing).
went for BLACKOUT exhibition yesterday and it was ab fab. more like an inspiration as i havent been doing much apart from packing and mopping over my sch schedule. the moment i saw kosuke misawa's works, i remembered my own mediocre cuttings from 2d poster. looking at dawn ng's paper planes installation reminded me of my buffterfly effect installation, which didnt look as magnificent and graceful as i thought it once did.
i realise what field i am playing in now. one with plenty of big sharks who have no problems working the dainty paper cutter.
i gotta work harder.
now about travelling - blackout was held at taiseng street, off paya lebar road. we took all the way from thomson to kallang and from kallang we took the bus, got lost midway and ended up backtrackking. and then i finally gave up and took a cab to the warehouse...which turns out to be one busstop behind.
okay jab time. =)
